Origin Matters
Sadhbhavana Institute of Research in Education is an initiative of Sadhbhavana Group, an organization, developed with a vision of bringing new standards in K12 education, knowledge generation, and management.Researching on what marks the difference between a good school and a great school, the team arrived at a qualitative framework for achieving excellence in the education domain. With continuous research on what makes a school great, Sadhbhavana listed out 444 quality components of a great school. These components were divided into 10 distinct baskets based on the broad category they belong to. To realize their vision, in 2008, the group first established Sadhbhavana World School on a sprawling 56 acre campus. And then in 2014, 5 years before the makers of the school envisioned it, the school became one of the Top 10 schools in the country. But this was not enough for the group. They wanted to become oneof the most reliable organizations to impart excellence and quality in the K12 sector. As such Sadhbhavana Group was set up in 2012. The group then established various sectors like The Centre for Research in Education & Teachers Training – CRETT, a joint initiative of the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) and Sadhbhavana Group, COSS Club - an initiative aimed at enriching education through projects which hone life skills, build social responsibility and contribute towards community development, and even an International Early Childhood Curriculum named Whystles.
With the aim to become a leading center nationally and internationally that promote an interdisciplinary approach to K12 education, Sadhbhavana initiated SIRE – Sadhbhavana Institute of Research in Education. The center supports rigorous research with the aim of contributing to ethical and quality school education.SIRE provides services in all major areas of education such as Educational Consultancy, Audit, School Operations,Professional Development, Research, and Advocacy. The services are designed such that they are relevant to the needs of education practitioners and decision makers alike.
